I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were simple but very clean, and the two verandas shared with other rooms offered pleasant views. The comfort level was top-notch. The service was excellent, with a deep respect for the hotel's history and original design. The staff was incredibly helpful, gracious, friendly, and knowledgeable. The location was superb, surrounded by natural beauty and calmness, making it a perfect getaway spot. The dining experience was delightful, especially the savory dishes, although it was a bit on the pricey side. Overall, a great value for money with fantastic facilities.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were a pleasant surprise with a vintage charm and new beds and bedding, making for a comfortable stay. However, the overall construction seemed old, and the bedding was not up to par. The service was excellent with friendly and helpful staff, although there were some minor issues with the hotel's care. The location was truly breathtaking, nestled in a historic town surrounded by natural beauty, but it seemed to lack proper maintenance. The dining options were a hit and miss, with the free breakfast being a deciding factor on the stay. Despite some drawbacks, this hotel offers a unique experience with potential for improvement.

My stay at the hotel was a delightful experience overall. The rooms, though not opulent by modern standards, were cozy and perfect for relaxing or hanging out with friends. The service was genuine, friendly, and competent, making me feel welcomed and well taken care of. The location, in a beautiful valley along a river, was simply breathtaking, offering a peaceful retreat surrounded by natural beauty. The dining options were a bit limited, but the organic pulled pork was a tasty highlight. The facilities were well-maintained and added to the overall enjoyment of my stay.

I found my stay at the hotel to have mixed feelings. The room was large and clean but lacked the charm I usually enjoy in an inn setting. On the bright side, it was sparkling and perfect for the area with all the essentials. The service was very friendly and welcoming, yet some aspects seemed neglected like the bartender more into the TV than serving. The location was a bit tricky to find, but once there, it was right on the rivershore in a charming historic town between Aspen and Vail, making it perfect for a romantic getaway to the Rocky Mountains. The dining options were limited, mainly relying on the continental breakfast. The facilities were well-maintained with a good selection of equipment for your workout needs.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The rooms were private, had nice views, and the bed was very comfortable, making it a perfect retreat for a good night's sleep after a day of exploring outdoors. However, if you prefer direct access to the outdoors, you may find the Redstone Cliffs Lodge more appealing.
